S series electromagnetic brake series is a small and medium-sized electromagnetic spring pressurized power-off brake carefully designed and developed by our company. use precautions
1. The brake is mostly made of soft materials. Avoid knocking, dropping or using too much force during installation, otherwise it may cause scratches or deformation of the brake and affect the use. Please pay attention during installation.
2. Please note that the lead wire of the brake is not stretched by force, and the lead wire is bent too much or picked up by hand, which may damage the lead wire and cause the brake to fail to work.
3. Our brakes are dry double-sided friction plate brakes. If the friction surface is stained with oil or water, it will cause the torque of the brake to drop, so it needs to be used in a dry state. In order to prevent oil or water and dust, please use a protective cover.
4. Excessive voltage fluctuations will affect the performance of the brake, so the use of the brake voltage control in the range of ± 10% of the rated voltage, and requires smooth and no interference.
5. The working clearance of the brake has been adjusted when leaving the factory, so there is no need to adjust it when in use, and please do not open the brake without permission. If the gap is not appropriate, the brake may not work properly.
6. Special attention: when the motor rotates, the brake must be opened, and forced drag with brake is not allowed! Drag with brake will damage the brake in a short time!
7. The shaft sleeve (square wheel or spline sleeve) can be fixed by screws or keys, or by interference fit. The interference fit is only suitable for the built-in brake.
8. The installation screws are required to be fixed with special glue for thread. When applying glue to the screws, please be careful not to apply it to the surface of the rotor and the surface of the square wheel.
9. The shaft sleeve connecting the brake and the shaft must ensure a certain distance "X" from the armature of the brake during installation, and the value of "X" recommend 0.2~0.5mm; Please refer to the product drawings of each specification for detailed dimensions.
